While we were in the airport in Rome, getting ready to leave Italy, we were all told to get out into the parking lot. Police were everywhere. A van showed up and brought out the roll of wire seen in the photo.

They then rolled the wire into the airport and hooked up a plunger. A minute later there was an explosion in the airport and smoke billowed out the doors. It turns out someone left a suitcase unaccompanied.
Kathy enjoys some pasta.
No lack of good food in Italy.

Lemoncello is real good. I made a batch of it (recipe elsewere on this blog) with Splenda rather than sugar and it came out just like the real thing.

Maureen

The real thing, Margarita pizza, the original invented in Napoli.
