This is how the Republic of Croatia is spelled in......Croatian.

These guys are roasted in the majority of Croatia's restaurants every afternoon.
We cannot stop saying that Croatia is just beautiful
This photo was taken at night. The Nikon digital cameras do a wonderful job in low light conditions.

No, not Rome, Croatia has a Colosseum also
Kathy standing in the water off of Pula
Lots of tiny boats here
Some of the beautiful beaches and campgrounds in Europe

Rovinj is one of the most scenic towns on the Istria Peninsula

Nice stroll along the waterfront

Watch your step!!
As in most of Europe, there is no shortage of narrow alley's and stairways
Croatia has some of the best and freshest seafood we have ever had, much like Greece
Rovinj, fabulous
Rovinj from across the water
Don't need to tell anyone that has been to Europe about the open air markets

Street view of Rovinj. As you can tell by all the photos, Rovinj was one of our very favorite towns on the Istria Peninsula of Croatia. The wars that took place, resulting in the splitting up of Yugoslavia, never came to the Istrian Peninsula so unlike other parts of Croatia the roads and towns are pristine.

The water of the Adriatic Sea is crystal clear. Just about everywhere in Croatia the water has no color at all. No Photoshop here, you are looking through several feet of the Adriatic. Also, you will find that almost all of the beaches consist of rock rather than sand, probably contributing to the clear water. Bring Aqua Shoes when going to the beaches.
After a beautiful beach day this is our campsite in Porec Croatia
Kathy getting ready to hang out some laundry and below is the sunset taken from the campground, next to our site in Porec Croatia

We parked on the beach on the Island of Romo

Lots of homes have thatched roofs in Denmark
Do you have to mow the roof?

Some of the buildings were sagging in the middle

It takes a few Lego's to build these great scenes

This is Gert & Else's home where our European RV
had been stored by the previous owners Bob & Mary
Else invited us for coffee & cookies followed by
a few beers. Later they had us in their home for
a wonderful dinner and the next morning
breakfast. What great hosts
