Below the sign for the Salvation Army you will
see a plaque (click on the photo to enlarge) that
is inscribed "Built 1913 Destroyed By Enemy Action 1940
Rebuilt To The Glory Of God 1955." There is a lot of reference

to the destruction caused during the World Wars all over Europe.
