We parked on the beach on the Island of Romo
off the west coast of Jutland Denmark
Lots of homes have thatched roofs in Denmark
Do you have to mow the roof?

Some of the buildings were sagging in the middle
Our European Home
It takes a few Lego's to build these great scenes

HOW- did they do it?

This is Gert & Else's home where our European RV
had been stored by the previous owners Bob & Mary
Else invited us for coffee & cookies followed by
a few beers. Later they had us in their home for
a wonderful dinner and the next morning
breakfast. What great hosts

Underneath was a pump for water to supply the home

We then tied up to the dock in Rotterdam, Netherlands.
Al and I each drank two of these and got a buzz
Some modern cubical apartments
The craftsmen making the wooden shoes
A typical Dutch street along a canal in Rotterdam

Next stop was Dover England
Below the sign for the Salvation Army you will
see a plaque (click on the photo to enlarge) that
is inscribed "Built 1913 Destroyed By Enemy Action 1940
Rebuilt To The Glory Of God 1955." There is a lot of reference
to the destruction caused during the World Wars all over Europe.
The famous White Cliffs of Dover

The first port of call was Le Harve France where
we walked around town looking in the shops
Of course everyone knows about the great bakeries
in France
And the flowers were blooming and so was Kathy

We saw this on the TV screen in our cabin six times
as we crossed the Atlantic. It made breakfast come
sooner the next morning but we never went hungry
and it was better than gaining six hours all at once
as would happen if we flew.

These were a couple of the entertainers during the
Broadway type shows we enjoyed every evening
And here are a couple more
This was a very nice couple we met aboard
ship, Cary & Cindy from Oklahoma

And here are our dinner partners, another
lovely couple that live part time in Florida
and part time in Germany where they have
an apartment, Al & Beverly
These were our great servers at evening dinners,
with Kathy,Nadia, Jayson, Kathy, Aleysia. Nadia
and Aleysia are from Russia and Jayson from the
Philippines. I spent 18 months in the Philippines
so Jayson and I had a great time conversing in
Tagalog and he was the best waiter we have ever
had on a cruise.

Roy & Mili. She was our hostess in the main
dining room. Her home is in Serbia.
This was our cozy cabin which included a full
bath and room service twice a day. Love that
chocolate on the pillow of the turned down bed
