My sister Gail has run a wildlife rehab place on Bradenton Beach for many years. Kathy and I help take care of several of the animals including this young deer while we are here also taking care of my Mom
Kathy feeds the little fella some goat's milk four times a day

On Anna Maria Island there are several piers that have restaurants at the end on the water. This one has the best grouper sandwiches around

The Gulf Of Mexico has some nice clear water here. That is Egmont Key in the distance.

Once a week the Biff Burger has an old car show. On another day it is bike night

In this pond, behind our rigs where we were parked on the beach in

Zihuatanejo (Ixtapa)

there were lots of wild birds including pink spoonbills. Don't forget, you can click on any of the photos to zoom in.
This was our really fun group. We were really sad to have to leave in a hurry to come to Florida to take care of my sick Mother. From left to right we have Drake, Helen, Me, Tracy, Kathy (in front of Tracy) and Joe
Wow....a couple of HOT beach babes Helen & Tracy

It sure was a rough life on the beaches
The beautiful views just would not quit
Drake and Helen provided shelter from the Mexican sun for us
Gorgeous view from up on a hill near town
Had we stayed longer we would have loved to go down to this little cove for a dip in the clear water
Nice marina in town
Believe it or not, there is a good German restaurant near Patzcuaro. In the photo above this one Kathy, Tracy & Joe enjoy the cuisine

Folks riding horses on the beach. What fun.
We originally parked on this street that dead ended right on the beach (shown above and below) at Zihuatanejo (Ixtapa). After a few days we were approached by the Director of Tourism and were told we could not park there however the very nice gentleman showed us the much better place where we are parked right on the sand at the beach

Coming back from Janitzio Island off the coast of Patzcuaro
On the way back from the island the boat broke down several times. Wonder if the Mexican Coast Guard would have rescued us?
The Old Man Dance, actually performed by young kids
The statue on top of the Island can be seen from a long distance
The town square on Janitzio Island
Kathy enjoys looking in all the shops
The boats from Patzcuaro to Janitzio Island even have Mariachis on board
Other boats going back and forth
Not too many empty seats on the boats
View from our boat
Fisherman with their nets held high

A meat truck
Boats tied up in the harbor

Vendor selling tasty fried sardines. You could have them either plain or with some hot spices. Tracy and I shared a cup.
I hope Joe doesn't get jealous

In the town of Santa Clara del Cobre artist create all kinds of things made out of copper
They not only make small items like bowls but large pieces like sinks and even bathtubs
It takes lots of heat and labor to make all the items
